About Larry Luna

Larry Luna is a licensed REALTOR®, mortgage loan originator, and Tennessee Notary Public serving clients throughout Middle Tennessee. Through Team Luna Homes, Larry brings a unique perspective to the home-buying process, combining years of experience in residential real estate and mortgage lending with a commitment to helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions.

A native of Southern California, Larry grew up in Southeast Los Angeles and attended St. John Bosco High School before attending California State University, Dominguez Hills. Following in the footsteps of his father and brother, Larry served in the United States Marine Corps from 1986 to 1992 as a field radio operator and communications operator. The values of service, commitment, and accountability he developed as a Marine continue to shape the way he works with clients today.

After leaving the Marine Corps, Larry built a career in accounting and finance, progressing from accounting and payroll positions to regional credit management. When a career transition presented itself in 2012, he brought that financial background into the mortgage industry.

Larry began his mortgage career in 2013 and became a licensed mortgage loan originator in 2015. Working closely with homebuyers and real estate professionals sparked an interest in understanding the other side of the transaction, and in 2018 he earned his real estate license.

That combination of experience gives Larry an uncommon understanding of the home-buying process. He can help clients navigate the real estate side of finding and purchasing a home while also drawing on his mortgage experience to help them better understand financing, pre-approval, and the financial decisions involved along the way. His experience has also given him opportunities to educate and mentor newer real estate agents and mortgage professionals.

In 2022, Larry added his Tennessee Notary Public commission and Certified Signing Agent credentials, expanding the range of services available through Team Luna Homes.

Today, Larry and his wife make their home in Middle Tennessee. They have a large blended family of six children and ten grandchildren. Outside of work, Larry enjoys spending time with family, golf, and staying involved in the local community.
